HATZIS MARBLE, was established in 1977 by Matthew Hatzis. Today, the company is managed by his son, Dimitris Hatzis. The premises of the company are located at the 24th km of Peania - Markopoulo Avenue, two kilometres away from the new airport "Eleftherios Venizelos".
The plant is situated on a twenty thousand square meters privately owned site. The building, all constructed in 1996, consists of offices of 150 m2, an enclosed production- manufacturing area of 800 m2, and storage-exhibition area of 5.000 m2.
The machinery utilized consists of state of the art technology for cutting and shaping marble and three bridge cranes (one in the production area and two in the outside area).
The activities of the company include trading, cutting of raw marble (bulks) and the processing of marble in the form of slabs and tiles in a wide variety of dimensions, to suit both consumer and commercial applications. The raw material is procured from Greece and abroad (Italy, Pakistan, Turkey). The selection is based on strict criteria and standards, to ensure the quality of both marble used and goods processed. In the last decade the company has succeeded in expanding its activities into Europe, Australia and the United States of America.
